The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Boxer.
Boxer throws a right and a left that Sanchez avoids nicely.
Boxer throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some wild striking there from Boxer.
Sanchez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sanchez scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sanchez lands a high kick!
Sanchez moves out of range as Boxer strikes.
Sanchez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boxer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sanchez counters with a big head kick but Boxer shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanchez slips under a jab from Boxer.
Boxer looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well.
Mike Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Sanchez swings widly with a right hand
and Boxer counters with a left to the body.
Boxer misses with a double jab
and Sanchez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez moves out of range of the strikes.
Sanchez throws a head kick but Boxer moves out of range.
Boxer takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Boxer throws a right and a left that Sanchez avoids nicely.
Boxer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanchez. Sanchez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sanchez lands a high kick!
Boxer is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Sanchez uses the oldest trick in the book to send Boxer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Sanchez is absolutely delighted - when Boxer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brakeo Sanchez!
