Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kartik Yay! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randjob Jiu Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yay connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kartik Yay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jiu Jitsu drops his hands momentarily and Yay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jiu Jitsu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yay paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jiu Jitsu tries to clinch and Jiu Jitsu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A punch combination from Yay misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Yay throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Yay keeps the fight on the outside. Jiu Jitsu doesn't manage to clinch there - Yay circles away.

Jiu Jitsu tries to clinch up but Yay circles away and keeps his distance. Kartik Yay is winning the standup battle so far. Jiu Jitsu tries to close the distance and clinch but Yay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jiu Jitsu tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jiu Jitsu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jiu Jitsu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jiu Jitsu is looking to clinch. Yay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yay. Yay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Yay misses with a punch on the inside.
