Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fisher's entrance music is Stranglehold - Ted Nugent. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fisher has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz working for a submission but Fisher is keeping him at bay. That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! An elbow from Diaz crashes against the mat.
Diaz in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fisher is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Diaz! Nick Diaz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
