Ringo comes to the cage accompanied by Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy!. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennet takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Ringo cracks Bennet with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ringo scores with a decent looking hook.
Bennet throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Ringo cracks a nice hook into Bennet's ribs.
Bennet tries to score with a low kick but Ringo moves his leg out of the way.

Bennet swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

A left hand lands to the body for Bennet.
Bennet jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ringo walks away with a smile on his face. Bennet gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ringo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Johnny Ringo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bennet connects with an inside leg kick.
Bennet throws a sloppy head kick and Ringo moves out of range easily.
Ringo throws a series of punches but Bennet moves out of range.
Joe Bennet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ringo lands a jab-cross combination.
Ringo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bennet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bennet finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bennet will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ringo lunges at Bennet with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bennet's hand.
Bennet scores with a push kick.

Bennet is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ringo.

Ringo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ringo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ringo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Ringo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ringo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ringo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bennet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ringo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bennet is still on wobbly legs! Can Ringo finish him?
Ringo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ringo digs a good body shot into Bennet's ribs.
Bennet seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bennet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bennet gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bennet tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ringo is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bennet buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bennet!! Bennet is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ringo throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
