Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shooter McDoogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse- Eminem. John Watson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shooter McDoogle! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDoogle tries to bum rush Watson with a series of wild strikes but Watson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McDoogle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McDoogle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McDoogle throws a lazy head kick and Watson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Watson. McDoogle does a little dance to reset his feet. McDoogle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Watson pinned against the cage. Watson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McDoogle fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Watson slips under a jab from McDoogle. McDoogle gets caught flat footed, as Watson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Watson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDoogle looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Watson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Watson postures up in McDoogle's guard and throws a big left but McDoogle blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McDoogle is keeping the position for now. McDoogle working a defensive guard here.
Watson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McDoogle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Watson tries to free his leg and advance position but McDoogle is retaining full guard. McDoogle has Watson pulled in close to control his posture. Watson is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Watson scores with a crisp jab that stopped McDoogle in his tracks.
It looks like Shooter McDoogle has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Watson lands in his opponent's guard. Watson works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Watson wants to lay and pray for a moment but McDoogle keeps working. Watson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McDoogle is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Watson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Watson not landing any meaningful shots this time. McDoogle is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. McDoogle manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Watson wants to pass the guard but McDoogle is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watson trying to control but McDoogle is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Watson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McDoogle works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watson won't allow McDoogle to sweep him here. Watson forces his way into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McDoogle can do anything to dispel that myth. Watson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Watson landing strikes from the mount and McDoogle is in trouble! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Watson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Watson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That has opened up Shooter McDoogle's cut even more. Watson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McDoogle looks a forlorn figure.
Shooter McDoogle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shooter McDoogle's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Watson! John Watson gave a mention to [CBK] The Smashwear Corporation in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
