Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Dale Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Johnson's calf.
Hammer swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hammer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Johnson content to stall in guard here.
Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Hammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammer wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Johnson is taking a breather. Hammer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Johnson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hammer's shoulder. That is not cool.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Hammer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Hammer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hammer wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.

Thor Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hammer for as long as he can get away with.
Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hammer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hammer and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Johnson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hammer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Johnson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
