Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Dubois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiremu Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiremu Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephan Dubois!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wiremu Williams!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a wild body kick that Dubois sees coming a mile off.
A jab from Dubois misses.
Dubois on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dubois has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dubois is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Williams scores with a jab to the head.
Williams throws a quick inside leg kick.
Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Williams connects with the punch.
Dubois fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Williams takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dubois takes a kick to the side of the head.
Williams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Dubois has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dubois doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Williams manages to break the clinch.
Williams throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dubois doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Williams throws a head kick that Dubois semi-blocks.
Williams lands with a slapping head kick.
Wiremu Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dubois on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dubois takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Williams.
Crunch! Williams slams his shin into Dubois's torso.
Williams fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dubois lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Williams tries a head kick but it misses.
Dubois is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Williams defending well as Dubois loads up on a big left hand.

Dubois shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dubois throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dubois is trying to work for a kimura but Williams is defending well.
Dubois missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Dubois is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dubois is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Dubois moves into full mount! Williams won't be happy about that!
Dubois throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Dubois has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dubois lands a big shot there that rocks Williams but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Dubois with a couple of short strikes.
Dubois thowing shots but they're missing.
Dubois in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


Williams is rocked!
Dubois postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Williams bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Dubois and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephan Dubois!
Stephan Dubois tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
