Jones has chosen what's new pussycat as his entrance music. Esteban Colberto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tom Jones's chin.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colberto has his takedown stuffed
and Jones moves into the clinch.
Jones will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Colberto up against the cage.
Jones scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jones digs a right hand underneath Colberto's ribcage. Colberto let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jones.
Colberto's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Colberto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A nice right hand lands inside from Jones.
Jones lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Colberto or not.
Colberto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esteban Colberto. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones has a couple of punches blocked by Colberto.
Colberto is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Oh Colberto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Colberto.

Jones swings wildly with an uppercut but Colberto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Jones has Colberto pressed against the cage. He pushes Colberto back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Jones throws a beautiful elbow that sends Colberto crashing to the floor! Jones piles on the pressure with more strikes! Colberto is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Jones!
