The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schneiderhan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cohnor showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Schneiderhan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Schneiderhan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cohnor controls the pace. Cohnor trying to control the position from guard on top but Schneiderhan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cohnor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Schneiderhan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cohnor wanted to stand there but Schneiderhan had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cohnor stays in close to Schneiderhan's body and controls the position. Cohnor wants to control from the top but Schneiderhan keeps moving. Schneiderhan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. That's two minutes gone in the round. Cohnor moves into full mount! Schneiderhan won't be happy about that! Cohnor could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cohnor throws some wild stikes that Schneiderhan manages to avoid easily.
Schneiderhan looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Cohnor's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Schneiderhan is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Cohnor is riding his opponent, not letting Schneiderhan buck him off. Cohnor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Christian Cohnor just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cohnor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cohnor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cohnor is breathing heavily. Schneiderhan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cohnor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schneiderhan is keeping the position for now. Cohnor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Schneiderhan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cohnor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Schneiderhan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cohnor is now in half guard. Cohnor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Cohnor throws a strike but Schneiderhan avoids it easily and moves to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Christian Cohnor will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cohnor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Schneiderhan to the mat! Schneiderhan manages to get full guard. Schneiderhan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cohnor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schneiderhan is keeping the position for now. Schneiderhan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cohnor is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cohnor tries to stand but Schneiderhan is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schneiderhan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cohnor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Schneiderhan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cohnor!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cohnor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schneiderhan looking for a guillotine from mount but Cohnor is having none of it. Cohnor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Schneiderhan avoids the attempt from Cohnor to control. Cohnor is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Cohnor tries to reverse the position but Schneiderhan maintains control. Cohnor regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cohnor keeps control of the position for the meantime. Cohnor pushes Schneiderhan off looking to stand but Schneiderhan dives back in and keeps control.
Cohnor is controlling Schneiderhan's trapped leg to prevent Schneiderhan from advancing to side control. Schneiderhan seems to be working for a kimura but Cohnor defends the submission attempt. Cohnor controlling the position for now. The fighters are battling for position here. Cohnor manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Cohnor throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

He's working for the Kimura, can Cohnor defend it? Schneiderhan steps over the head and cranks it - Cohnor is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Schneiderhan!
