Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goru Buodad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Goru Buodad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ty Griffin! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buodad changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Griffin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Buodad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Griffin can't do much from the bottom here. Buodad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Griffin, who protects the arm well. Griffin tries to bench press Buodad off him but Buodad keeps the position. Griffin throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Buodad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Griffin throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buodad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Buodad goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Griffin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Buodad but great work by Griffin. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Buodad is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buodad keeps working. Griffin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buodad is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Griffin moves into full mount! Buodad slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Griffin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Griffin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Buodad sees it coming and defends easily. Buodad is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Griffin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Griffin's back! Buodad working for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Griffin showing good submission defense here.

Buodad is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Griffin is defending well though. Buodad let's go of the attempt for now. That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Griffin's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Buodad is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Griffin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Buodad is looking for the choke from the back position but Griffin is controlling his hands well. Griffin is trying to break free.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Griffin trying to control the position but Buodad manages to sink in the hooks. Buodad is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Griffin knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Griffin for a finish. Griffin trying to survive by controlling the hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Goru Buodad dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Buodad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Griffin wants to control but Buodad is keeping busy and won't allow it. Buodad is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Buodad is trying to work for a kimura but Griffin is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Buodad is working for a kimura but Griffin is defending it quite comfortably.
Buodad wants to free his trapped foot but Griffin is holding on for dear life with his legs. Buodad is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Griffin can do to turn this around? Griffin is controlling Buodad's trapped leg to prevent Buodad from advancing to side control. Buodad seems to be looking for submissions.
Buodad wants to work for an arm triangle but Griffin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buodad is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Griffin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Goru Buodad! A relieved looking Goru Buodad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
