Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between MALIETOA MALALA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fante Sekibu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fante Sekibu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MALALA goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
MALALA pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
MALALA rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sekibu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sekibu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
MALALA shoots in for a takedown but Sekibu shows good takedown defense.
Sekibu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and MALALA counters with a two punch combo.
MALALA shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sekibu as he jumps to the side.
MALALA feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sekibu wants to stand but MALALA is controlling the position.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sekibu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. MALALA doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. MALALA manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
