Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Prodigy - Breathe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Billy Bob has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunner Hansen! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen fails to land the takedown. Bob shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hansen napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bob with the ground and pound but Hansen regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Bob throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bob missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bob scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hansen wants to control but Bob is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bob looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bob thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansen controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Hansen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bob. Hansen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bob has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hansen's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Hansen slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bob. Hansen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bob postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bob working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bob throwing strikes from guard but Hansen blocks nicely. Hansen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Hansen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bob is trying desperately to improve position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hansen tries to control but Bob wriggling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hansen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob throws a looping overhand right but Hansen ducks down to avoid it. Bob thows a leg kick but Hansen checks it and Hansen counters with a takedown into side control. Bob is letting Hansen control him for a moment. Bob is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hansen is controlling the pace.
Hansen is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are battling for position here. Bob manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bob keeping full guard, as Hansen tries to pass. This has been an exciting period of action! Bob looking for a sweep. Not yet Bob, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom. Hansen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bob's guard. Hansen slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gunner Hansen wasn't active enough on the ground. Bob just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob throws an overhand right that lands on Hansen's shoulder, as Hansen tries to avoid the shot. Nice sprawl there from Bob as Hansen shoots in. Hansen defending well as Bob loads up on a big left hand. Bob looks to throw the jab but Hansen is out of range. Hansen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bob as he avoids it easily. Bob closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bob tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bob is putting a hurting on Hansen here, landing some big shots from side control. Bob cracks Hansen with a big elbow. Bob lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bob cracks Hansen with a big elbow. The strikes coming from Bob are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Bob lands a few punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Bob scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hansen to see if he's OK. Bob fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Hansen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bob wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bob keeping moving, preventing Hansen from controlling successfully. Hansen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hansen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Billy Bob will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Hansen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bob postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bob throws a strike aimed at the side of Hansen's head but Hansen avoids it well. Sloppy strikes there by Bob. Hansen defending against the ground and pound. Bob throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Billy Bob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bob throws an elbow but Hansen slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hansen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bob. Hansen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bob. Hansen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hansen. Bob throws an elbow that misses. Hansen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bob's guard. Nice move by Hansen! Hansen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen stands and throws Bob's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hansen controls the position from side control. Bob is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bob is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Hansen seems content to control. Bob is trying to control but can't.
Hansen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bob trying to control but Hansen postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Billy Bob just wasn't active enough. Bob clinches. The referee calls for Bob to work.
Bob gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hansen.
Come on Bob - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

And that's the end of the fight! Billy Bob showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bob has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
