Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia gets caught flat footed, as Girard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Garcia pulls Girard in to control the position.
Garcia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Girard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Garcia looking for a sweep. Not yet Garcia, not yet.

Girard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garcia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Garcia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Girard avoids it really well and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Girard or perhaps it was just good defense by Garcia which made him look bad.

Garcia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Girard tries to stand and escape but Garcia is controlling the position.

Girard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Garcia is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Theo Girard wasn't active enough on the ground.
Girard fails with the takedown.

Garcia takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Girard swats away the attempt to clinch by Garcia.
Girard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Garcia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Girard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Garcia gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Garcia decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Girard closes the distance and clinches up with Garcia, looking for a takedown. Girard pushes Garcia against the cage but Garcia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Danga de danga de dang - Garcia scores with a four punch combination!
Girard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Girard off to one side.
Garcia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Girard tries to avoid it but Garcia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Girard to the ground. Girard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Garcia gets caught napping as Girard dives in and scores a takedown. Garcia manages to retain guard.
Garcia wriggles free and stands up.
Garcia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Garcia fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Girard to the ground. Garcia is now in Girard's guard.
Girard controls Garcia momentarily but Garcia frees himself.
Garcia stands and throws Girard's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Girard is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Garcia decides to stand up, so the ref orders Girard to his feet.
Garcia shoots in and drives through. Girard sprawls well.
Girard dives in and scores a takedown into Garcia's guard.
Garcia is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Girard rolls with it to try and escape but Garcia cranks on the arm and Girard is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
