Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Marcello misses the target.
Hurt goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Marcello throws a right hand that Hurt ducks under and follows up with a left that Hurt also avoids with ease.
Hurt misses with a head kick.
Hurt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hurt jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Marcello throws a hook but Hurt blocks it.
Marcello takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Primo Marcello has been cut.

and Hurt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Marcello closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hurt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hurt feints and then cracks Marcello's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marcello down.
