Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny McBraddish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBraddish comes to the cage accompanied by Broken by 12 Stones. Cope is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Let's Go. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny McBraddish! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Cope! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBraddish stuns Cope with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Cope blocks a low kick nicely. McBraddish thows a body shot but no joy. Cope avoids the body shot from McBraddish.
Cope throws a leg kick and McBraddish counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A big right from Cope misses. McBraddish misses with the combination.
Cope closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cope lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cope tries to free his leg and advance position but McBraddish is retaining full guard. Cope throws a big right hand that misses. McBraddish keeping moving, preventing Cope from controlling successfully. Cope throws a strike but McBraddish rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McBraddish got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cope has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McBraddish has managed to get both his arms back between Cope's legs - danger averted. Cope tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cope is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cope has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McBraddish is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cope. Cope manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! A low kick from Cope is predictable there and Cope takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cope fails to land the takedown. McBraddish looks to land a combination but Cope avoids it well. Cope stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McBraddish. Cope uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McBraddish.

McBraddish slaps away a takedown attempt from Cope, before circling back to the center of the mat. McBraddish throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
