The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White defending well as Grazies loads up on a big left hand.
Grazies shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grazies gets slowly back to his feet.
White lands a really nice looking cross but Grazies seems unphased.
Grazies gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White counters with a thumping low kick.
Grazies uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from White.

Dana White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Grazies.
White leaves Grazies with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Grazies throws an ugly left hook that misses
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Royce Grazies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White lands with a slapping head kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White drops Grazies with a naaaaasty hook - Grazies is in real trouble here! White dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
