Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Artur Renato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Cardona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renato kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'll whip ya head. Cardona has chosen Oh Radio as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cardona.
Renato tries to land a front kick but Cardona steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cardona is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Renato.
Renato moves into the clinch.
Cardona escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cardona wants to clinch
and Renato counters with an inside leg kick.
Renato avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Renato throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Renato misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cardona's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Renato throws a head kick but Cardona moves out of range.
Renato cracks the inside of Cardona's front leg.

Renato forces Cardona back against the cage and clinches.

Cardona digs a right hand into Renato's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Renato's gas tank.
Cardona pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cardona tries to clinch but Renato moves out of range.
Cardona fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Renato, pushing him back against the cage.
Cardona lands a nice shot to the body.

Cardona pushes Renato back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Cardona counters by moving into the clinch.
Renato tries to stall but Cardona uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Oh Renato is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cardona lands a right hand that snaps the head of Renato backwards.
Renato is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cardona is keeping busy.
Cardona pushes Renato against the cage. Cardona is working some dirty boxing. Cardona pushes off with a quick right hook! Renato goes down! Renato tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cardona moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
