Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostas Ninas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a hook
and Ninas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Silva throws a series of punches but Ninas avoids them all with ease.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ninas counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Silva tries to clinch up
and Ninas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ninas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Silva wants to clinch
letting Ninas counter with a right hand.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva looks to clinch
and Ninas counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Ninas to acknowledge the strikes.
Silva is rocked!
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ninas counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ninas misses the jab.
Ninas misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
Silva tries to clinch
enabling Ninas to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva moves to clinch but Ninas breaks away
and Ninas counters with a huge left! Silva is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ninas isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Silva from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ninas!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kostas Ninas!
