Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jebediah Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart has chosen Momma Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Fraser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jebediah Stewart!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fraser scores with a jab. Stewart acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Fraser misses with a hook
and Stewart counters with a good low kick that Fraser was not able to check.
Stewart throws a body punch but Fraser moves out of range.

Stewart gets a clinch.
Stewart tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Stewart manages to break the clinch.

Stewart gets tackled into the cage by Fraser. Fraser maintains the clinch.
Fraser is looking for a takedown.

Stewart tries to land a knee to the head but Fraser blocks with his arms.

It looks like Tim Fraser has been cut.

Stewart stalks Fraser and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fraser's face. Fraser staggers backwards, shaken.

Stewart gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stewart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fraser scores with a sloppy right hand. Stewart should have avoided that one.
A slow jab from Fraser misses its intended target.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stewart enables Fraser to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stewart manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fraser prevents Stewart from getting back to his feet.
Fraser passes Stewart's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Tim Fraser will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fraser has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stewart is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fraser has clasped his hands together around Stewart's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Stewart pushes Fraser away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fraser gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Fraser has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stewart goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nice sprawl there from Stewart as Fraser shoots in.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fraser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stewart is fending him off so far but Fraser persists. Nope, Stewart circles away and we're back to standing.

Jebediah Stewart seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stewart is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fraser is defending well for now.

I would just about give that final round to Jebediah Stewart.
I think Fraser has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
