Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Edward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Spandex Rex!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edward throws a right hand that misses
and Rex cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Edward thuds a left hand into Rex's body.
Edward scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Edward thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rex throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Edward.
Rex lands a nice looking body shot.
Edward lands with a kick to the temple. Rex shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Edward!
Rex missing with a left hand there. Edward was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rex checks the leg kick.
Edward walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Edward avoids the head kick by Rex.
Edward looks to land a left hand but Rex moved out of range nicely.
Edward throws a sloppy head kick and Rex moves out of range easily.
Rex ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edward moves away.
Edward is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rex.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Edward tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rex paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rex takes a swing at Edward's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circling - Edward throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A nice combination there by Edward.
It looks like Spandex Rex has been cut.
Rex has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Edward finds it's way round the side to connect with Rex's head.
Rex is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Edward throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Rex is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryan Edward!
Ryan Edward decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
