Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Butch Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bradley Fitz! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pain jabs Fitz right on the nose. Fitz blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Bradley Fitz has been cut. Pain darts in and clinches Fitz up against the cage. Pain missing with knees to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Pain breaks the clinch.
Pain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pain instigates a clinch. Pain breaks the clinch.
Pain clinches up against the cage. Pain softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Pain is stalling here.
Fitz looking for a takedown. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pain takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain breaks from the clinch.
Pain looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Pain swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fitz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pain won't be happy with that. Fitz working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Pain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fitz on the ground. Fitz sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pain is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fitz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pain regains half guard, as Fitz was trying to land strikes. Fitz seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fitz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fitz has Pain in his guard. Fitz is trying to keep Pain in close.
Pain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fitz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pain has managed to get both his arms back between Fitz's legs - danger averted. Pain wanted to stand there but Fitz had control of the position. Fitz is looking to sinch up a triangle. Pain throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fitz's body to avoid the submission. Fitz has instead reached around Pain's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fitz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bradley Fitz! Bradley Fitz bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
