Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricksonr Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Swiderski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lukasz Swiderski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricksonr Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lukasz Swiderski!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a takedown

and Swiderski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Swiderski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Swiderski.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Swiderski connects with a nice short shot to Gracie's temple.
Swiderski not doing much here.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Swiderski pulls his head out easily.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
Swiderski slows the pace down in half guard.
Swiderski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Swiderski connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Gracie to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie is covering up but some of the strikes from Swiderski are getting through and doing damage.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

I really don't envy Gracie right now.
Swiderski controlling the position well here. Gracie rolled but Swiderski kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Swiderski has the hooks in. Gracie is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Gracie just trying to survive but Swiderski is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Swiderski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, if Swiderski is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Swiderski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

BOOM! Swiderski connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Swiderski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swiderski punishes Gracie with strikes from the back mount.
Swiderski lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Gracie hold on?!
What can Gracie do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Swiderski is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gracie is defending well though. Swiderski let's go of the attempt for now.
Gracie tries to escape but Swiderski has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Swiderski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Swiderski lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Swiderski.
Gracie turns into Swiderski and is now in his guard.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Swiderski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Swiderski has escaped and now he's on top!
Swiderski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Swiderski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Swiderski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Swiderski stands up from Gracie's guard - Swiderski perhaps looking for a knockout.

Swiderski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Swiderski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swiderski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie is trying to reverse the position but instead Swiderski has taken his back - oops!
Swiderski has good solid back control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lukasz Swiderski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Swiderski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Gracie tries to lock up and control but Swiderski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Swiderski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Swiderski manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gracie to take his back!
Swiderski is landing with strikes. Gracie can't take much more of this.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Swiderski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Swiderski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Swiderski!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lukasz Swiderski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
