Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barry closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hull quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Barry thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Barry drops an elbow to the side of Hull's head.

Hull looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Hull tries to get to full guard but Barry has control of the leg.

Barry seems to be working for a kimura but Hull defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hull slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hull is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barry is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barry won't allow Hull to sweep him here.

Barry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hull throws a couple of heel strikes.
Hull wants to sweep here but Barry controlling him for the moment.

Hull looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barry is one step ahead there.

Barry sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hull's guard.

Barry is working for a submission of some sort.

Hull is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Barry is working for a kimura but Hull is defending it quite comfortably.

Hull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barry wants to pass the guard but Hull is keeping the position.

Barry drops back looking for a leg! Hull is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hull manages to kick Barry off! Barry jumps back into Hull's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hull is on top in guard.
Hull slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Barry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hull's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Barry is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hull scores with a couple of nice shots.
Hull is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Hull winds up and cracks Barry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Barry is looking to improve his position.
Hull is nestled in close to Barry, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That has opened up Hank Barry's cut even more.

Hull seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hank Barry's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hank Barry's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
