Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Tugarinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi - Beautiful People as his entrance music. Vanderlei Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sasha Tugarinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vanderlei Silva! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva closes the distance and clinches. Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Tugarinov avoids the damage to the body. Silva is looking to take this one to the mat. Tugarinov manages to pull guard.
Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tugarinov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tugarinov is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tugarinov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tugarinov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva working some strikes from top position. Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tugarinov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva postures up in Tugarinov's guard and throws a big left but Tugarinov blocks it. Tugarinov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tugarinov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva throwing strikes but missing. Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tugarinov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tugarinov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to control from the top but Tugarinov keeps moving. Tugarinov is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tugarinov's body to avoid the submission. Tugarinov has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tugarinov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
