Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marduk Mendor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklyn Vass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendor's entrance music is Bring it on. A fine choice. Vass has chosen Highway to Hell (AC/DC) as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marduk Mendor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franklyn Vass! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendor lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mendor swats away the attempt to clinch by Vass. Mendor throws a nice outside leg kick. Vass closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mendor's guard. Vass stays in close to Mendor's body and controls the position. Mendor looking for a sweep. Not yet Mendor, not yet. Mendor is trying to control the position from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mendor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendor throws a head kick that misses. Vass lands a nice hook to Mendor's body. Mendor takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mendor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mendor is breathing heavily. Mendor will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Marduk Mendor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendor throws a nice outside leg kick. Mendor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vasss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mendor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vass throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mendor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vass is in Mendor's guard. Mendor keeping full guard, as Vass tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vass gets to his feet - Mendor follows without any prompting. Vass takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mendor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vass. Marduk Mendor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mendor's waist but Mendor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vass off to one side. Vass tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mendor paws at him with a jab and circles away. Vass misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mendor.
Mendor throws a front kick that sends Vass stumbling back into the cage. Vass walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mendor. Mendor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Mendor goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vass misses with a kick to the body.
Mendor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vass. That did some damage! Mendor throws a head kick that Vass semi-blocks.
Vass takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mendor scores with a kick to the midsection. Mendor throws a head kick that misses. Mendor throws a right hand that Vass ducks under and follows up with a left that Vass also avoids with ease. Mendor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Vass fails in his attempt to clinch. Mendor throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vass takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mendor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vass circles away quickly and effectively. Vass is looking to clinch. Mendor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Vass takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Vass has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Mendor. Mendor cracks a nice hook into Vass's ribs. Mendor throws a head kick but Vass moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mendor throws a nice head kick!
A chopping leg kick lands by Mendor. Vass dives in and grabs Mendor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mendor pushes down on Vass's head and hops out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marduk Mendor dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mendor throws a right hand that Vass ducks under and follows up with a left that Vass also avoids with ease. Mendor thows a body shot but no joy. Vass takes a kick to the side of the head. A slapping leg kick lands for Mendor.
Vass swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mendor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mendor lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Vass takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mendor misses with a body shot.
Mendor scores with a head kick. Vass tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Mendor throws a head kick that Vass semi-blocks.
Vass is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendor circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Vass drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mendor follows Vass to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
