Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgi Todorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ward might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All American Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Ward! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Georgi Todorov! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todorov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ward moves away. Ward throws a hook but Todorov avoids it easily. Todorov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ward! Todorov prevents Ward from getting the reversal. Ward is working hard here to advance position. Todorov controlling the pace for now. Todorov lands a heavy elbow. Ward is bucking up trying to escape but Todorov cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Todorov scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ward is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ward can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Todorov trying to control but Ward is having none of it. Todorov raining down hammerfists from mount. Todorov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ward's face.
Todorov controlling the position easily from mount. Ward manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ward throws a strike from the bottom but Todorov passes into side control!
Todorov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ward sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Todorov wants to pass the guard but Ward is defending well. Ward wants to improve his position but Todorov is controlling well.
Todorov working over Ward with some ground and pound. Ward looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ward gets full guard. Todorov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Todorov scoring with punches to the head and body. Ward has his feet on Todorov's thighs here. He's pushed Todorov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Todorov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Chris Ward decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
