Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aku Juhtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Darren James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aku Juhtanen! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juhtanen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and James counters with a takedown into side control. James is trying to get an arm triangle but Juhtanen is defending well. Juhtanen tries to escape but James is in control. Juhtanen is looking for a sweep. James is trying to get an arm triangle but Juhtanen is defending well. James wants to control but Juhtanen is keeping him busy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James is trying to get an arm triangle but Juhtanen is defending well. James thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Juhtanen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Juhtanen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, James asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Juhtanen, who protects the arm well. James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Juhtanen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Juhtanen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but James is controlling him well. James wants to control but Juhtanen is keeping him busy. James tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no James has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Juhtanen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! James looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Juhtanen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but James has just dragged him back down to the mat. James has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Juhtanen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. James yanks on the arm and Juhtanen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by James.
