Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomba shoots in looking for a takedown. Hayes tries to sprawl out of it but Bomba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Hayes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hayes punishes Bomba's body with a nice straight punch.
Hayes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hayes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hayes misses with a wild combination.

Bomba throws a hook but Hayes blocks it.
Bomba fails with a takedown attempt.

Hayes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bomba in particular looking to stall.
Bomba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hayes tries to roll over but Bomba keeps him under control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bomba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bomba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bomba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bomba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bomba wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hayes, who protects the arm well.

Bomba looks up at the clock and then as Hayes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bomba smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hayes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hayes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bomba couldn't care less - he's delighted!
