Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Gerrard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerrard comes to the cage accompanied by go home. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Gerrard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thunder Hands!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gerrard closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hands's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gerrard trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gerrard keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hands's head.

Gerrard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gerrard pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gerrard.

Gerrard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hands to the mat! Hands manages to get full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gerrard tries to free his leg and advance position but Hands is retaining full guard.

Gerrard gets to his feet. Hands looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hands scores with a takedown into Gerrard's guard.
Gerrard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hands is controlling him.

Gerrard wriggles free and stands up.
Gerrard is breathing heavily.

Gerrard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hands's guard.
Hands is trying to keep Gerrard in close.

Hands looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hands looking to control.
Gerrard wants to stand but Hands is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gerrard decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Hands moves into the clinch successfully.

Gerrard manages to break the clinch.

Hands pushes Gerrard up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hands decides to pull guard.

Gerrard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hands has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gerrard has managed to get both his arms back between Hands's legs - danger averted.
Gerrard wants to get up but he can't break Hands's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Gerrard is working Hands over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Gerrard gets to his feet. Hands looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hands closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hands is trying to control the action in half guard but Gerrard is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gerrard wants to sweep but Hands has passed to side control!
Gerrard is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hands has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hands advances to full mount.
Hands can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gerrard is looking to escape.

Gerrard wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hands.
Hands throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Hands avoids the attempt from Gerrard to control.
Hands punching from mount but Gerrard doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hands tries to control but Gerrard wriggling away.

Hands throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gerrard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hands is in Gerrard's guard.
Gerrard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hands would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gerrard wants to stand but Hands is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jake Gerrard just wasn't active enough.

Hands looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gerrard!

Hands misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gerrard is desperately trying to improve his position but Hands has a good base and remains in mount.
Jake Gerrard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hands cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Gerrard is desperately trying to improve his position but Hands has a good base and remains in mount.
Gerrard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hands on the ground.

Hands is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gerrard to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gerrard shrugs it off.

Thunder Hands showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Hands shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hands was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hands is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Thunder Hands comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hands has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
