Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Puno Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ILja Muromets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muromets is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Krec Паром через. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muromets fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Muromets.
Puno Jr throws a low kick but it's checked well by Muromets.
Puno Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Muromets.
Fidel Puno Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ILja Muromets.
Puno Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Muromets tries a low kick but Puno Jr avoids it.
Puno Jr moves in looking to clinch but Muromets pushes him off.
Puno Jr lands with a nice body punch.

Puno Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Muromets moves out of range easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Puno Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Muromets has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Muromets and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Muromets is defended easily by Puno Jr.
ILja Muromets seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Muromets looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Puno Jr is fending him off so far but Muromets persists. Nope, Puno Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
Puno Jr leaves Muromets with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Muromets shoots in and drives through. Puno Jr sprawls well.
Puno Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Muromets.

Muromets shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Puno Jr has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Muromets's lack of action.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Muromets is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Puno Jr sees it coming and defends easily.

Muromets thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Puno Jr's head.

Muromets is looking for a kimura but Puno Jr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Muromets to get the leverage.

Oh but Muromets is tightening it up a little... Puno Jr has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
