Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King DingaLing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irwin comes to the cage accompanied by The Outsider. Joe Irwin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Irwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King DingaLing! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DingaLing moves in looking to clinch but Irwin pushes him off. Irwin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! DingaLing blocks a low kick nicely. DingaLing throws a right hand that Irwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Irwin also avoids with ease. A solid leg kick lands there for Irwin.
Irwin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. DingaLing wants to sweep but no luck. DingaLing is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Irwin looking to sit in guard and control but DingaLing gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. DingaLing looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. DingaLing drops back looking for a leg! Irwin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Irwin manages to kick DingaLing off! DingaLing jumps back into Irwin's guard. DingaLing is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. DingaLing won't allow Irwin to get back to his feet. DingaLing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Irwin is looking to stand up but DingaLing isn't so interested in that idea. DingaLing trying to control the position from guard on top but Irwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. DingaLing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Irwin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irwin is not content to let DingaLing control the position. DingaLing with the ground and pound but Irwin regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Irwin wants to get back to full guard but DingaLing has mounted him! Irwin is squirming around, avoiding DingaLing's attempts to control the action. DingaLing forces the positional change into back control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Irwin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if DingaLing gets his way!
DingaLing gets his hands free as Irwin looks to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King DingaLing dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
DingaLing shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Irwin counters with a straight right hand. DingaLing fails to land with a series of punches.
DingaLing tries to bum rush Irwin with a series of wild strikes but Irwin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Irwin throws a series of punches but DingaLing moves out of range. Irwin misses with a jab, cross combination.
DingaLing tries to clinch up and Irwin moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Irwin avoids the elbow strike from DingaLing, against the cage.
DingaLing content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. DingaLing landing knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. DingaLing breaks the clinch.
DingaLing takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Irwin misses with a jab, cross combination.

DingaLing throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Irwin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed DingaLing clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! DingaLing has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Irwin. Irwin throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irwin keeps control of the position as DingaLing tries to break free.
Irwin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DingaLing on the ground. Irwin lands a shot to the head. DingaLing just trying to survive but Irwin is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Even with his hooks in, Irwin manages to miss with strikes from the back. Irwin scores with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irwin wants to control but DingaLing manages to buck him off and is now in Irwin's guard! Nice work there by DingaLing! DingaLing stands and throws Irwin's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Irwin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Irwin wants to get back to his feet but DingaLing drags him back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. DingaLing wants to lay and pray for a moment but Irwin keeps working. Irwin tries to bench press DingaLing off him but DingaLing keeps the position. DingaLing is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Irwin has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Irwin pushes DingaLing away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, DingaLing gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Irwin dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
DingaLing tries to clinch but fails miserably and Irwin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DingaLing's guard. DingaLing is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. DingaLing moves into full mount! Irwin won't be happy about that! DingaLing looking to control but Irwin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. DingaLing cracks Irwin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. DingaLing trying to control but Irwin is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. DingaLing takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
DingaLing controlling well, preventing Irwin from escaping the position.
DingaLing biding his time, controlling Irwin. DingaLing looking to break Irwin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Irwin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise DingaLing will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irwin staying busy and making it hard for DingaLing to control. Irwin holding both DingaLing 's hands and preventing any damage. DingaLing throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Irwin!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irwin trying to control the position but DingaLing manages to sink in the hooks. Irwin defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of DingaLing's arms. Irwin staying busy and making it hard for DingaLing to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Irwin trying to get back to his feet but DingaLing is in full control for now. DingaLing wants to control but Irwin is keeping busy. Irwin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if DingaLing gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Irwin has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
And that's the end of the fight! King DingaLing comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think DingaLing has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
