Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ortiz throws a one two combo.

It looks like James Jones has been cut.
Ortiz is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

Ortiz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ortiz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ortiz's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jones is holding on here and Ortiz must be using up a lot of energy. Jones has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ortiz gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
