Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ovid Julios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Danzig - Five Finger Crawl. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blake digs a good hook to Julios's body.
Julios has managed to clinch.
Julios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Julios is looking to land body kicks.
Blake blocks a head kick by Julios.
Blake scores with a body shot.
Blake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Julios moves away.
Julios displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blake throws out the jab.
Blake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Julios throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good standup being displayed there by Blake as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Ovid Julios has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Julios takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Julios tries to clinch but Blake is having none of it.
Blake dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Julios is breathing heavily.
Blake throws a series of punches but Julios moves out of range.
Blake connects with a body shot that sends Julios's belly button to the back.
No joy there for Blake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Julios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blake cracks a nice hook into Julios's ribs.
Blake bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake dances in with a quick combination. Julios is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Blake snaps Julios's head back. Julios stumbles backwards against the cage. Blake steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Julios's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Julios just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bernard Blake!
