The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Walters thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Norris is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Walters controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Norris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Walters postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walters passes into half guard. Walters is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Norris sees it coming and defends easily. Norris wants to get back to his feet.
Walters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Walters is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Walters in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Norris tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Walters!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Johnny Walters! During a confident post fight interview, Johnny Walters thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
