Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ping Petunia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ping Petunia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Dos Santos! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dos Santos thuds a left hand into Petunia's body. Dos Santos lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dos Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dos Santos lands an overhand right. Sloppy strikes from Dos Santos. Those never looked like landing. Petunia closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dos Santos's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dos Santos wants to stand up but Petunia is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petunia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dos Santos wants to stand up but Petunia is controlling him. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Petunia drops back looking for a leg! Dos Santos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dos Santos manages to kick Petunia off! Petunia jumps back into Dos Santos's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dos Santos is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Petunia dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Santos wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Petunia wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dos Santos, who protects the arm well. Petunia slows the pace down. Petunia looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Petunia tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Petunia is trying to get an arm triangle but Dos Santos is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petunia thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Petunia looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dos Santos is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Petunia is controlling him well. Petunia has knee on belly and moves into mount. Petunia looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dos Santos's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Petunia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dos Santos is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos tries to buck Petunia off but he can't manage it. Petunia tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Petunia wants to finish this one by submission but Dos Santos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Petunia. Petunia looking for a guillotine from mount but Dos Santos is having none of it. Dos Santos wants to get back to his feet.
Petunia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dos Santos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Petunia has hold of Dos Santos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dos Santos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Petunia is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dos Santos is surviving well by controlling Petunia's body position as best he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dos Santos is trying to stand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Petunia looking to isolate an arm here. Dos Santos doesn't see it coming and as Petunia extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Petunia!
