Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rory Markman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Boston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boston is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Bradley Boston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rory Markman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Boston! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boston throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Boston looks for the body kick but Markman saw that one coming. Nice sprawl there from Boston as Markman shoots in. Markman shoots in but no luck this time. Boston scores with a slapping inside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Markman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Boston - the referee stops the clock and Markman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Boston. Markman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Markman is defended easily by Boston. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Markman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Boston. No joy for Markman on that attempt. Boston tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Markman shoots in looking for a takedown. Boston tries to sprawl out of it but Markman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Markman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Markman moves out of range as Boston throws a body kick.
Boston slaps away a takedown attempt from Markman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Markman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Markman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Markman working the ground and pound effectively.
Boston is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Markman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Markman trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Markman throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Markman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Markman tries to control but Boston wriggling away. Markman putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Markman thowing shots but they're missing. Boston blocking the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Markman. Markman landing shots from mount. Boston keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Markman raining down hammerfists from mount. Boston is in a horrible position here. Markman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Markman thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Markman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Boston turns into him and now he's in Markman's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Markman controls Boston momentarily but Boston frees himself. Markman looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Boston puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Boston moves into full mount! Markman won't be happy about that! Boston tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Markman is looking to get to half guard. Markman wants to hold on but Boston pushes him away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boston trying to control but he's not successful this time. Boston controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rory Markman dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Markman shoots in but Boston avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boston gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Markman wants to control from the top but Boston keeps moving. Boston is trying to keep Markman in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boston not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rory Markman. Boston throws a sloppy head kick and Markman counters with a shoot takedown. Boston fights it but they end up in guard. Boston keeping moving, preventing Markman from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Markman throws a strike but Boston rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Markman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boston's guard. Boston keeping moving, preventing Markman from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Markman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rory Markman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Markman trying to control the position from guard on top but Boston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Markman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boston swivels though and keeps the full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boston keeping moving, preventing Markman from controlling successfully. Markman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rory Markman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Boston slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Boston missing with a left hand there. Markman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Markman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boston is fending him off so far but Markman persists. Nope, Boston circles away and we're back to standing. Markman throws a hook but Boston avoids it easily. Boston tests Markman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Markman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boston pinned against the cage. Boston gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Markman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boston getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Markman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Markman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Boston has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Markman but great work by Boston. Boston controlling the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Markman is looking to reverse the position. Boston wants to take a breather but Markman manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Boston. Markman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Markman looking for a guillotine here but Boston defends easily.
Boston won't allow Markman to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boston scores with a nice strike. Boston tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boston misses with a leg kick letting Markman counter with a right hand. Boston tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Markman is able to avoid easily. Markman misses the shot to the body. Boston misses the shot to the body. Markman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Nice uppercut there from Boston. Boston slaps away a takedown attempt from Markman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Markman shoots in looking for a takedown but Boston manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Markman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Markman shoots in for a takedown but Boston shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Markman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boston looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Markman shoots in and drives through. Boston sprawls well. Markman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Markman thuds a left hand into Boston's body. Boston fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Markman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Boston tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Markman fails with the takedown and Boston counters with an inside leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Markman shoots in but no luck this time. Bradley Boston has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Markman looks for a takedown but Boston sprawls well. Markman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boston throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Markman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Markman moves out of range of the body kick from Boston.
Boston delivers a nice body kick. Markman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bradley Boston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Markman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boston. Markman blocks a leg kick. Boston looks to land a right hand but Markman moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boston misses with a body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boston.
Boston throws a quick inside leg kick. Boston lands a big uppercut and Markman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Markman looks OK. Boston waves Markman back to his feet!
Markman is rocked!
It looks like Rory Markman has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Boston lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Markman out cold! Markman is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
