Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cooper Abreu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Leis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leis has chosen No Sleep - Wiz Khalifa as his entrance music. Jesse Leis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cooper Abreu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jesse Leis!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abreu doesn't manage to clinch there - Leis circles away.
Abreu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Abreu breaks from the clinch.
Leis closes the distance and clinches up with Abreu, looking for a takedown. Leis pushes Abreu against the cage but Abreu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Abreu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Leis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Abreu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Abreu creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Leis is looking for a sweep.

Abreu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Abreu sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Leis is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abreu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Leis down.
Abreu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Leis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Leis gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Leis tries to lock up and control but Abreu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Abreu thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Leis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Leis gets back to half guard.
Leis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Abreu scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abreu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Leis's head.
Leis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Leis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Abreu uses his free foot to push down on Leis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Leis.

Abreu lands a big shot there that rocks Leis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Abreu is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Leis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Leis is in a horrible position here. Abreu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Abreu is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Leis goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Abreu!
