Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel has chosen I Am the Thorn by Cradle of Filth as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Austin Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wolf as he avoids it easily.
Gabriel closes the distance and clinches up with Wolf, looking for a takedown. Gabriel pushes Wolf against the cage but Wolf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wolf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gabriel is looking for a sweep. Wolf is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wolf seems to be working for a kimura but Gabriel defends the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Wolf has control of Gabriel's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gabriel regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wolf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gabriel sprawls well initially but Wolf persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wolf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gabriel to the mat! Gabriel manages to get full guard.
Gabriel wants to sweep but no luck.

Wolf knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gabriel on the ground.
Gabriel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wolf manages to get himself to full guard.

Gabriel is looking for a kimura but Wolf is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gabriel to get the leverage.
