Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kieran Masvidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lynx Fortalejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortalejo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Cali Buds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Masvidal has picked Fortalejo up - he's going for a ride! Masvidal dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fortalejo manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Masvidal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fortalejo was covering up waiting for the punch and Masvidal finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fortalejo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masvidal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Masvidal is trying to maintain a safe position but Fortalejo gets an underhook and turns Masvidal into the cage.

Masvidal turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Masvidal manages to end up in side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kieran Masvidal.
