Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Eldridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wesley Templar! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Templar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Eldridge at a distance.
Templar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Michael Eldridge has been cut. Wesley Templar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eldridge swings for the body but Templar moves out of range.

Templar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Templar lands a jab to Eldridge's midsection. Eldridge throws a big shot that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Eldridge blocks a jab. Eldridge looks to score with a jab to the body but Templar is just out of range. Templar misses with a wild body shot. Templar misses the jab. Templar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eldridge moves away. Templar connects with a single shot there. Templar clinches up against the cage. Templar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Templar lands a hook that snaps the head of Eldridge backwards. Still in the clinch, Templar scores with a nice short uppercut. Templar is trying to break the clinch but Eldridge has him pressed against the cage. Eldridge swings wildly with an uppercut but Templar uses good head movement to avoid it. A shot in the inside from Templar. Templar tries to throw a body punch but Eldridge avoids it by throwing Templar back against the cage. Eldridge throws a head punch that misses. Eldridge throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Templars head. Templar tries to throw a body punch but Eldridge avoids it by throwing Templar back against the cage. A body shot lands from Templar.

Templar swings wildly with an uppercut but Eldridge uses good head movement to avoid it. Templar lands with a left to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eldridge looking to slow down the pace here. Templar effectively controlling the action here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Eldridge lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Templar stalling against the cage.
Templar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eldridge fakes the leg kick and cracks Templar in the body. Templar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eldridge sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Templar somewhat. Michael Eldridge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Templar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eldridge throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Templar thuds a left hand into Eldridge's body. Eldridge throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Templar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Eldridge throws the left hand but Templar avoids the punch easily. Templar stuns Eldridge with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Eldridge throws a jab when Templar was well out of range. Templar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eldridge is trying to get back to his feet. Eldridge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Templar on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eldridge looking for a sweep but Templar has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Templar lands a big shot there that rocks Eldridge but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eldridge tries to hold on but Templar pushes him away. Eldridge is in a horrible position here. Templar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Michael Eldridge's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Templar connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
