Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Walt William!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angelo Mustachio!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustachio avoids the head kick by William.
Mustachio misses with a takedown
and William counters by clinching up.
William trying to land knees to the body.
William has Mustachio pressed against the cage.
Mustachio prevents a body shot from William.
Mustachio manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mustachio bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in William's guard.
Mustachio wants to pass the guard but William is keeping the position.
William has a closed guard, preventing Mustachio from standing up.
William is looking to stand up but Mustachio isn't so interested in that idea.

William keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mustachio's head.

Mustachio had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. William defends it easily.
William postures up in Mustachio's guard and throws a big left but Mustachio blocks it.

William working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mustachio's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
William slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

William knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mustachio on the ground.
William distracts Mustachio with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
William wants to control from the top but Mustachio keeps moving.
Mustachio is trying to control the position but William postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mustachio looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
William postures up and lands a big shot to Mustachio's brow.

William wants to control from the top but Mustachio keeps moving.
William got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mustachio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, William has managed to get both his arms back between Mustachio's legs - danger averted.
William not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
William has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
William lands a couple of decent looking shots.
