Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Jim!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac moves out of range of the body kick from Jim.
Mac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jim tries to avoid it but Mac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jim to the ground. Jim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jim is defended easily by Mac.
Mac gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mac's guard now.
Mac throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jim throwing strikes but missing.
Jim makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mac has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mac looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mac is breathing heavily.

Jim trying to control but Mac is working from the bottom.
Jim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jim sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mac's guard.
Mac on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mac is defending against the submission attempts here by Jim.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jim throwing shots but Mac is blocking nicely.
Jim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mac's head.
Jim is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mac is refusing to be controlled, as Jim sits in half guard.
Jim seems to be working for a kimura but Mac defends the submission attempt.
Mac moves into full guard.

Mac keeping moving, preventing Jim from controlling successfully.
Mac looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jim is defending well. Mac quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jim has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mac celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
