Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rysiek Sucharski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Frusciante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sucharski comes into the arena with Dolly song blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimi Frusciante! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frusciante lands a leg kick that knocks Sucharski off balance momentarily. Frusciante has Sucharski up against the cage in a clinch.
Sucharski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sucharski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Frusciante.

Sucharski pushes Frusciante back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Frusciante prevents Sucharski from breaking the clinch. Sucharski is trying to maintain a safe position but Frusciante gets an underhook and turns Sucharski into the cage. Frusciante jumps guard and drags Sucharski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Frusciante tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sucharski wants to stand but Frusciante is controlling his posture from full guard. Frusciante has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sucharski off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Frusciante is trying to drag Sucharski to the mat but Sucharski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Frusciante is trying to pull guard but Sucharski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Sucharski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frusciante has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Frusciante. Frusciante tries to pull guard but Sucharski forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Sucharski tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Frusciante is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sucharski pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sucharski scores with a shot to the side of Frusciante's head. Sucharski gets through Frusciante's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Sucharski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Frusciante blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Frusciante closes the distance and pushes Sucharski back into the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Sucharski looking to slow down the pace here. Sucharski scores with a shoulder strike. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Frusciante takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sucharski lands a right hand that snaps the head of Frusciante backwards. Sucharski wants to stall.

Sucharski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sucharski scores with a nice hook to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rysiek Sucharski will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Frusciante gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Frusciante looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sucharski is fending him off so far but Frusciante persists. Nope, Sucharski circles away and we're back to standing. Rysiek Sucharski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimi Frusciante. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sucharski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Frusciante on the side of the head. Frusciante looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Frusciante is breathing heavily. Frusciante thows a body shot but no joy. Frusciante dives in and grabs Sucharski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sucharski pushes down on Frusciante's head and hops out. Frusciante shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sucharski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frusciante throws a hook to the side of Sucharski's head but Sucharski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It connects and Sucharski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Sucharski. No joy for Frusciante on that attempt. Frusciante slips a jab and a cross from Sucharski.

"Ole!" shouts Sucharski as he jumps to the side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
