Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pao Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommi Hartola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jay Chou - General/Checkmate. Tommi Hartola will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnem�ki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartola moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hartola walks into a stiff left hand from Ling.
Hartola misses with a wild body shot.
Pao Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A bone on bone clash there as Ling blocks the leg kick.
Ling with a nice cross.
Hartola takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Ling throws a nice inside leg kick.

Ling takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Pao Ling has been cut.
Hartola throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ling throws a series of strikes that have Hartola backpedaling.
Hartola thows a body shot but no joy.
Ling tries a head kick but it misses.
Hartola looks to land a left hand but Ling moved out of range nicely.
Hartola on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Ling bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Hartola throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hartola jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hartola throws a leg kick which misses Ling's front leg but catches the back leg as Ling tries to avoid it.
Ling misses with a low kick as Hartola jumps back.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ling. That's going to slow Hartola down.
Ling misses with a body shot.
Hartola takes a swing at Ling's ribcage but misses.
Ling paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ling cracks the inside of Hartola's front leg.
Ling throws a body punch but Hartola moves out of range.

Hartola pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ling is out of range and Hartola settles back down.
Hartola closes the distance and pushes Ling back into the cage.

Ling scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hartola with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hartola goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ling pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Ling finds it's way through Hartola's defenses.

Ling moves out of range of the body kick.
Ling digs a good body shot into Hartola's ribs.

Ling moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hartola on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hartola is rocked!
Ling drops Hartola with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hartola! Ling dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pao Ling!
Pao Ling retains his light heavyweight title!
Pao Ling really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conviction logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
