Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Tapia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Tapia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Frulani! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tapia comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Frulani shoots in for a takedown but Tapia shows good takedown defense. Danga de danga de dang - Tapia scores with a four punch combination! Frulani tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Frulani looks gassed! Frulani looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tapia! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tapia is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Frulani misses with a head shot. Poor strikes thrown by Frulani there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Tapia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tapia tries to get out of the position. Tapia wants to try and get back to his feet. Tapia trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frulani is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tapia has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Frulani sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Tapia wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Frulani.
Frulani throwing strikes here but Tapia is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tapia is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Frulani fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Frulani throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Tapia has his hands clasped together but Frulani breaks the hold and Tapia is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Frulani!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Felipe Frulani!
