The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Hentschel.
Lokopoko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hentschel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lokopoko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hentschel counters by moving into the clinch.
Lokopoko has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hentschel is trying to keep an underhook but Lokopoko manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lokopoko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hentschel works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hentschel pulls Lokopoko in close to prevent any damage.
Hentschel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lokopoko tries to free his leg and advance position but Hentschel is retaining full guard.
Hentschel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lokopoko manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After winning the bout, Stefan Hentschel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
