Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarred Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hyato Kimuraba!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rose duly obliges.
Kimuraba decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kimuraba with the ground and pound but Rose uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Rose keeping moving, preventing Kimuraba from controlling successfully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kimuraba's head.
Kimuraba is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kimuraba can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rose controls the pace.
Kimuraba wants to sweep here but Rose controlling him for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jarred Rose wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kimuraba shoots for a takedown but Rose saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rose closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kimuraba to the mat! Kimuraba manages to get full guard.
Kimuraba not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rose passes Kimuraba's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rose throwing shots but Kimuraba is blocking nicely.

Rose has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kimuraba defend it? Rose steps over the head and cranks it - Kimuraba is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rose!
