Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Messi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Fraracci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fraracci throws a nice inside leg kick.
Messi shoots in looking for a takedown but Fraracci manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Messi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fraracci is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Messi's half guard.

Messi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fraracci looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Messi is trying to trip Fraracci. He has hold of a leg but Fraracci is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Messi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fraracci is stalling here. Messi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fraracci seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Messi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Fraracci is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Messi defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lionel Messi will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lionel Messi.
