Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chen Zhen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Sierra!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierra misses with a takedown attempt
and Zhen counters with a three punch combo that has Sierra backing up. Sierra nods at Zhen to acknowledge the strikes.
Zhen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Zhen drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zhen throwing strikes but missing.
Zhen looking to sit in guard and control but Sierra gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sierra slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sierra drops back looking for a leg! Zhen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zhen manages to kick Sierra off! Sierra jumps back into Zhen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zhen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zhen tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sierra's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Sierra slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sierra is trying to get an arm triangle but Zhen is defending well.
Sierra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zhen, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sierra wants to control but Zhen is keeping him busy.

Zhen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Sierra tries for a kimura but Zhen is defending well.
Sierra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sierra decides to stand up, so the ref orders Zhen to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sierra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sierra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sierra gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zhen.
Sierra misses with a takedown attempt
and Zhen counters with a straight that turns Sierra's legs to rubber! Zhen pushes forward with more strikes and Sierra goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chen Zhen!
