Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Deacon Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joel Singapore!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singapore connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Singapore shoots in and gets a takedown into Frost's guard.

Singapore drops back looking for a leg! Frost is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frost manages to kick Singapore off! Singapore jumps back into Frost's guard.

The referee asks Singapore politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Singapore prefers to stall for the moment though.

Singapore gets to his feet. Frost looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Singapore jumps guard but Frost turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Singapore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frost will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Frost looking to sit in guard and control but Singapore gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Singapore looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Singapore has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Frost is bucking up trying to escape but Singapore cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

You get the feeling that Frost really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Singapore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Singapore has hold of Frost's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Frost manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Frost is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Singapore locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Frost is forced to tap!
